Sunrise Hill Lucy
RSA Carrigan
Bred: 11/15/14 Due: 4/19/14
Kidded: 4/20/15
Lucy was bred to Cardigan back in November and we are very excited about these future kids. We hope that the kids will inherit their dam's sweet personality and their sire's amazing fiber genetics while retaining the type B fiber. RSA Carrigain belongs to Aisling Farm, who graciously took Lucy in for a month for breeding services. Lucy has been confirmed pregnant via blood test through the NH veterinary lab and will be a first freshener.
Lucy's kids will be available for sale to pet, show, or 4-H homes after they are shown in the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural fair we attend. Pygora kids would also be a great addition to a spinner's flock. We screen our buyers carefully as our goats are part of the family and it is important to us that they all have good homes. All kids will have the ability to be registered with the Pygora Breeders Association.
Lucy had a single doeling which we decided to retain for our herd. We are now taking reservations for Lucy's future kids.
Aisling Farm Norah Honey Meadows MY topaz
BRED: 2/2/15
DUe: 6/26/15
Kidded: 6/27/15
Norah is going to be bred to Honey Meadows MY Topaz this year. We are very pleased with the genetics topaz will pass on to this year's Nigerian Dwarf kids. He is the son of Roasharn SP Mercury *+B, who was linear appraised in 2013 as a VEE 88. Mercury has a very upright stance, an exceptional top line, and is just all to together a very dairy buck. His dam (Topaz's grandam), ARMCH Rosasharn Eclipse was a 2005 AGS national champion. Topaz's dam, Pocket Sized TB Xara was linear appraised as VEEE 90! Topaz has some impressive gentics behind him and we are very pleased to have him as this year's lease buck. Thank you Honey Meadows Farm for allowing us to lease him!
Norah's Kids will be available for sale to pet, show, 4-H, or milking homes after they are shown in the Hunterdon County 4-H and Agricultural fair we attend. We screen our buyers carefully as our goats are part of the family and it is important to us that they all have good homes. All kids will have the ability to be registered with the American Goat Society (AGS) and the American Dairy Goat Association (AGDA).
Norah kidded with twin doelings, one of which we retained for our herd! The remaining doe kid was sold to a pet home.
